Bodhi Bodywork is a massage therapy and body sculpting studio located in the Bearden area of Knoxville.
We take our name from the bodhi tree, also called the sacred fig tree. The foremost example of the bodhi tree grows at the Mahabodhi temple in Bodh Gaya, India. The Buddha is fabled to have been enlightened while meditating under the tree.

David practices Thai massage, lomi lomi, prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, Swedish relaxation massage, lymphatic drainage massage, wood therapy and other bodywork modalities.
While on a semester abroad, David had the opportunity to live in a Buddhist monastery and meditate under the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, India. A pivotal experience in his life, he named this business after the tree.
